The club pitches itself at a friendly level catering for players of all ages and capabilities, with weekly club nights, introductory sessions and professional coaching on offer.

We share the Sports Club Multi use games Area with our sister clubs and believe Allendale Tennis Club has among the best courts in the Tyne Valley. As well as Allendale we have members from Alston, Haydon Bridge and Weardale. We welcome members from all adjoining villages well beyond the confines of the Allen Valleys.

We have low level floodlights which help evening games reach their conclusion in the autumn months.

Club nights are held from April through to October. We run family tournaments and take part in friendly fixtures against neighbouring clubs.

Court hire is available outside peak times for non-members including visitors to the area.

As an LTA affiliated club, each year we enter the Wimbledon ballot and members have enjoyed the championships as a result.

Our subscription year starts on April 1st and to take best advantage of our early bird reduced subscriptions please visit our main website below.

The health and well-being benefits of playing Tennis are well documented whether you are 5 or 95. We look forward to welcoming new members.
